Large architectural files were filling local drives and slowing the whole team down. We migrated everything to Microsoft 365 and built out a structured SharePoint environment so files are accessible from anywhere, by anyone who needs them.
Ashman Architects were running out of local storage due to the sheer size of their project files — CAD drawings, renders, and large format documents. The team was wasting time emailing files back and forth, version control was a mess, and remote access was practically impossible. They needed a better way to work.
We migrated all existing project files into Microsoft 365 and built a logical SharePoint structure organised by project, client, and file type. We set up proper permission levels so the right people have access to the right files, configured Teams for project collaboration, and ensured everything was synced locally for fast access without relying on internet speed.
The team immediately noticed the difference. Files that used to take minutes to email are now shared instantly. Version control issues disappeared. Staff can access the latest drawings from site on their laptops or tablets. Storage is no longer a concern, and the whole operation runs more efficiently.
