New care home IT setup from scratch
Brand new care home, tight deadline, everything needed building from scratch. We designed and installed the full IT environment, migrated to Microsoft 365, and had everything ready before the doors opened — working late to make sure of it.
Genell were opening a brand new care home and needed the entire IT infrastructure built from nothing — network, hardware, user accounts, software — all before a fixed opening date. The timeline was tight and there was no room for delays. Care home environments also have specific compliance and security requirements that had to be met from day one.
We designed the full network infrastructure, sourced and installed all hardware, set up structured cabling, configured Wi-Fi across the building, and built out the Microsoft 365 environment for all staff. We created user accounts, set up email, deployed devices, and trained the team on the systems. Our engineers worked extra hours in the final days to ensure everything was tested and ready.
Genell opened on schedule with a fully operational IT environment. Staff had working devices, email, and access to everything they needed from day one. The care home has continued to use us for ongoing IT support since opening.
